Workwear Alarm: RFID Monitoring for Smarter Workwear Management

Workwear Alarm by Lindström gives you complete control over your company’s uniforms with smart RFID tracking. Each garment is tagged to prevent items from being taken off-site, ensuring they’re returned for regular professional laundering. This not only reduces garment loss and extends the lifespan of your workwear, but also improves hygiene compliance and helps cut operational costs.

How does Alarm Monitoring work?

The Alarm system combines RFID chip monitoring in workwear with an alarm function (light and sound) to detect and warn personnel, helping to prevent workwear from leaving designated operating areas.

It is designed to reliably reduce workwear losses, ensure professional cleaning and maintenance, and simplify compliance with hygiene regulations and occupational safety standards.

RFID reading
An RFID antenna, located at the exit, detects and records Lindström workwear passing through the monitored area.
Triggering an alarm
A light/sound alarm is activated, alerting employees and Security.
Security Alert
Security personnel can respond according to security protocols.
Reporting
Everything is logged and employee names and workwear details are displayed in eLindström.

Main Advantages of the Alarm system

Preventing loss of work clothes
RFID technology reduces the risk of work clothes leaving the workplace without permission.
Quality Assurance and Compliance

Raising awareness about workwear
Employees will realize that professional workwear improves hygiene and contributes to a safer and more efficient work environment.
