Who are the Lindströmers? From Finland to China, Lindströmers come from 70 different nations, infusing our workplaces with a rich tapestry of cultures. And age? We've got it covered, from Millennials to Boomers and Zoomers alike.

Despite the difficulties and the unimaginable human stress, Ukrainians have persevered in keeping the essential functions of their society running. As part of this, our business units in Ukraine, in Dnipro and Kyiv, have managed to continue business at least partially throughout the war.

We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous growth and empowerment on all levels of the company. In Asia, to ensure that the leaders can lead Lindströmers in line with our leadership principles and We Care culture, a comprehensive leadership development program was initiated in early 2023. It is designed to equip top leaders with the skills and insights needed to lead effectively in a dynamic and diverse business environment.  

Lindström joined forces with Czech social enterprise, DobroDílo. Together, we managed to provide jobs to disabled people, create a second life for our end-of-life workwear and offer unique promotional gifts to our customers. The initiative was awarded by the Zlatá Vážka, a Czech social business award.  

In early 2023, in Central and Western Europe, in response to the latest employee survey, work-life balance and wellbeing emerged as two of the key themes to focus on in the region. This revelation ignited discussions within our regional and national management teams, sparking a journey toward a deeper understanding of wellbeing.

Our impressive results from the Aquaest project translate to potential annual water savings in our workwear and cleanroom operations equivalent to 330 million litres — or 132 Olympic swimming pools.

A more diverse workforce brings a variety of perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table. At Lindström, we have started our DEI journey, toward diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In 2023, we took a step forward in supporting occupational safety at Lindström. With our new mobile tool, we have increased the number of observations with 28% from 2022 to 2023.

It's getting hot in here! The effects of global warming continue to intensify. We have taken several actions to protect our employees from the symptoms of heat stress and heat stroke.
