Lindström’s growth story continues – Polish HTS Rental joins Lindström through acquisition
Finnish multinational textile services group Lindström has acquired the shares of the Polish company HTS Rental Sp. z o.o. HTS Rental provides workwear rental and washing services in Sierpc, Poland. The company employs approximately 80 people in its modern service center in Sierpc, which has an annual capacity of 14 million pieces. HTS Rental’s existing employees, a total of 80 people, will all transfer to Lindström.
This acquisition strengthens Lindström’s position in the Polish market, particularly in the food and industrial sectors.
“This acquisition demonstrates Lindström’s commitment to providing top-tier services and solutions to our customers. HTS Rental’s strong client base and its ability to handle large washing volumes support our growth strategy. We see positive economic development in Poland and strong growth in textile rental, as companies increasingly focus on their core competencies and outsource textile services to a reliable provider. The laundry’s strategic location in Sierpc enhances our logistics efficiency and enables better service coverage across Poland,” says Mika Kujala, Senior Vice President, Central and Western Europe, Lindström.
“This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our strategy to grow and strengthen our market presence in Poland,” says Rafal Kopera, Managing Director for Lindström Poland. “HTS Rental’s expertise and modern facilities perfectly complement our existing operations, ensuring we continue to deliver superior quality and value to our customers.”
Lindström has been operating in Warsaw, Poland, since 2002 and currently employs nearly 60 people. The service offering covers workwear and mats, with approximately 4000 customers.
